DJ Design was the first person to encourage me to make solo material (and dj) so I owe him a lot. During one of the first beat listening sessions we had, he played this banger and started writing on the spot, which in those days, I never did. Anybody that knows me now, is well aware that writing on the spot is damned near the only way that I do things anymore. So I guess this was the beginning of a new era for me.

My confidence was rising and I was starting to experiment my ability to write choruses and sing a little bit. This was definitely an opportunity to expand my repertoire, so I got my falsetto on and gave it a run.
