about
When I first moved to Oakland, I was fortunate enough to share a house with some very creative people. Producers Fanatik and Friz-B (Various Blends) lived downstairs and Prozack Turner lived upstairs. It was through Fanatik and my dude Anas Canon (Remarkable Current Music), that I met Jihad.
During this time I was really getting into my spirituality, hanging out with Anas and asking a lot of question. Jihad was (and still is) Fanatik's best friend so he was around the house a lot. We just hit it off and he started showing the bangers he was making on his MPC 2000. He slid me a couple and I went to work.
One day, I walked in Ridwan (Fanatik) asked me if I had worked on any of the beats that Jihad had given. 15 minutes later, I laying down these bars.
